Background: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an important opportunistic pathogen, and carbapenem resistance emerging problem. The determination of genes vital for epidemiological purposes, the early carbapenemase production methods also recommended. Objectives: present study aimed to investigate presence VIM, NDM, IMP, GES, SPM, GIM, SIM in P. isolates. Methods: In this study, 200 carbapenem-resistant isolates were included. DNA extraction was performed using boiling method. Following extraction, optimization conducted original primers. After optimization, examined polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Results: mainly identified from tracheal aspirate cultures (34.5%). PCR method revealed VIM one isolates, NDM gene isolate using.
